All of Kavallerie's German Shepherd Puppies are whelped and raised in our home where they experience normal day to day activities such as vacuuming, people coming and going, power tool noises, dishes clanking, etc... At 4 weeks old the German Shepherd Puppies move outside where they experience an entirely new world with Mom to be introduced to new scents, sounds, sights & surfaces! They will have time to romp in the pasture play in the stream & explore with their Mother (supervised of course). All our German Shepherd Puppies are also exposed to gunfire, metal grate footing, slippery surfaces, open ended tunnels, stairs. We also allow the dam to stay with her puppies as long as she wants and she will naturally wean them on her own, this usually occurs between week 5 - 7. All puppies are evaluated daily from birth so they can be placed in suitable homes. For example we will NOT place a high drive puppy in a home that wants a pet and we wont place a low drive puppy in a home that wants a Schutzhund prospect. Proper puppy placement is priority!
